Just as a seedling emerging from the ground needs care and attention so should we cultivate the connection to our deepest roots to be able to move through life unconstrained. During this time the soul is nourished through cleansing, healthy growth and attention to expansiveness. In the wood seasonal balance workshop we invite you to explore the virtue of benevolence and discover tranquility in being flexible to life’s many transitions.
A one-of-a-kind experience created by Turi Nevin-Turkel, Yoga Therapist, ERYT & Dr. Virginia Hisghman, PhD., LAc, {Licensed Acupuncturist,} this workshop combines the wisdom and techniques of Traditional {O}riental {M}edicine & Yoga. Join Turi & Virginia for an overview of how we best can utilize this wisdom tradition to find balance & overall well-being on a seasonal basis. A yin yoga practice will be shared to cultivate a deeper connection with the body, mind & soul. Practice will conclude with a long savasana incorporating acupuncture and a guided meditation.

Dr. Hisghman, PhD.,LAc specializes in the integration of acupuncture with auricular therapy, botanicals, herbology, oriental bodywork therapies & yoga.
