Autumn Seasonal Balance | Yoga + Acupuncture Workshop

In Oriental Medicine, Autumn is the season for the metal element…During this time we transition into Autumn or metal element feeling the crispness and coolness of the air as the warmth of the earth begins to fade.   As we breathe in the pure air, we are energized and provided with inspiration to connect more deeply with our own true essence.   Like the trees that are shedding leaves, we let go of what no longer serves us and become more receptive to new cycles beginning in our life.

This is a time for us to reflect and begin to go inwards as we prepare for winter.  We revel in fall’s beauty of colors, fragrances and stillness while being receptive to divine inspiration to guide us in letting go and returning to our core.    Join us in the process of bringing in the pure and releasing what no longer serves you in this extraordinary workshop.

Yoga & OM, a seasonal experience, was created by Turi Nevin-Turkel, ERYT & Dr. Virginia Hisghman, PhD., Lac. This workshop combines the wisdom and techniques of Traditional {O}riental {M}edicine & Yoga.  Join Turi & Virginia to explore of how we best can utilize these wisdom traditions to find balance & overall well-being on a seasonal basis.  A yin yoga practice will be shared to cultivate a deeper connection with the body, mind & soul.  Practice will conclude with an extended savasana incorporating a full seasonal harmonizing acupuncture treatment and a guided meditation.
